We’re very excited about the upcoming winter basketball season.

It’s a chance for many players to show off the hard work that they put in, in the off-season.

Summer 2014 was the biggest summer in the history of Premier Hoops, with over 250 athletes training in Billerica, Peabody, Cambridge, Lynn, Malden, Woburn, and Marblehead.

This Fall 2014, many of our athletes have been working very hard in practice and competing in Zero Gravity Basketball Tournaments throughout Mass and New Hampshire.

All of the training is geared towards the winter season and we are offering the following:

– All Girls Basketball League in Marblehead, MA

Girls from all over the North Shore of MA will be playing in this league. Some towns include Lynn, Swampscott, Peabody, Salem, Nahant, and Beverly.  This is a skill development league for girls 2-7 grade and will take place a the Marblehead High School on Saturday mornings. Former college and elite high school players will help teach girls ball-handling, shooting, and passing drills. League games will be played after skills & drills practice.

-Junior All Boys Basketball League in Marblehead, MA

This league was at capacity last year with four teams of 10 players per team. We are expecting the similar enrollment at the JCC in Marblehead. Boys from all over Eastern, MA (Ages 7-10) will be participating in the Premier League. This consists of an hour of skill practice, including: mini-games, scrimmages, layup practice, ball-handling drills, and more! The second hour will consist of league games and the team records are kept online on our website. This is a very FUN and COMPETITIVE league for elementary school boys.

We will be splitting up the class into 45 minutes of skill development and 45 minutes of games. Players will have FUN and learn the rules of the game, offensive/defensive principles, dribbling moves, footwork, lay-ups, passing and more!

Elite Focus: Get extra repetitions in proper triple-threat perimeter footwork, shooting, and dribble moves. This is a perfect program for any player looking to learn new drills and practice skills on a weekly basis that he/she can put into league games during the winter. The program is split into an hour of skill development and thirty minutes of scrimmaging. Over the course of two months, players will gain more confidence and improve their offensive skills.
